The Kit

This was another Chinese $5 golo special, It was a real terrible kit to build as many parts didn't fit.  I used it to practice with the airbrush and try Tamiya acrylic paints. I liked the paints, particularly there application and clean up but the range is poor and I can't be bothered mixing them.

1/72 Italeri North American P-51D Mustang - No. 4 (Dunedin) Sqn Territorial Air Force - RNZAF

This the first kit I have made in 20 plus years. It caught my eye because it had marking for a RNZAF aircraft.  

The Build

A good quality kit with recessed panel lines and a good fit for only $10. I screwed up one of the decals so it's missing

I used a spray can to paint for the silver. and brushes for the rest., this really made me want to get a airbrush.
